This makes me so sad. I love White’s! It just won’t be the same without your beautiful garden center. We’ve purchased so many beautiful plants and beautiful items in the gift shop over the years. Wishing you all the best during this time and really hope to see you again soon ♥️🙏

I faithfully drive from Greenville NC to get plants for my mother’s flower pots a couple times a year and you all provided the most amazing selection and prices. Thank you so much for your years of service to the community. You are irreplaceable and I’m sure I speak for everyone that you will be missed dearly!😢 Take care!

Oh no! I had no idea. I drove by yesterday and saw you weren't open. Thought it was strange. Sure gonna miss this place! I've been going here for 30years!

My mom’s first job was for Mrs. Hetty White, about 60 years ago. She encouraged my mom go into the floral business, which she did for many years. Our family has been loyal customers. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone, as this must have been a difficult decision to make. May the road work finish quickly and open new doors in your future.

I would hate to see this treasured business go completely away, like so many others. I pray that there is a solution and you can reopen soon.

Our family Christmas trees have come from White’s ever since we moved to Deep Creek 34 years ago. I loved to go there, walk around and de-stress as well as buy a plant or two - and my granddaughters loved the ice cream freezer! Many great memories here, so sorry you are closing and hope you can reopen in the future.

I have enjoyed every visit to Whites for years. I always come home with a trunk full of wonderful plants. My grandsons loved to come along. The play area, the popcorn, the special events…I hope you will be able to reopen, but either way, thanks for the memories. 🥰

White’s Nursery has been my go to place for plants and flowers since I moved to Chesapeake 20 yrs ago. Thank you for your service over the years and I do hope you are able to reopen again.

I want to thank Whites for seven years of having my towels available for sale. Hopefully, when you reopen, you will reach out and invite me back. The Towel Lady!

I think everyone needs to post a photo of a plant or something that they purchased from White’s. I’ll go first.

This breaks my heart. All the dates with my dad when I was little… I’m 41 and still bring my kids there. Beautiful memories!!

I am so sorry to hear this. For years, my family shopped there. I've moved to PA now, and I haven't been able to find a few plants and trees that I'd like to add to my yard, and my first thought was, "I'll drive down to White's because I know they have them." I wish you all the best and hope you will one day reopen. White's was an iconic part of Deep Creek.

What about unused gift cards ?

My daughter and I only discovered White's Nursery & Garden Center about a year ago. We loved driving out there and prefer to shop family owned businesses versus the large corporations. I pray all is well. I pray you are able to open again soon. You and your families and I'm my prayers and in my heart.

My family loved White’s nursery. My parents lived in Elwood landing for over 30 years, so we would often frequent your garden center. My mom and kids loved the popcorn you handed out. Sadly, times change for us all. My parents have relocated to NC and the kids are all grown up. Thank you for the beautiful garden flowers and wonderful memories you have given us. (Photo taken in 2021.) P.S. I would always get my summer geraniums from you for my home in Northern Va each year, that’s how much I enjoyed your flowers.

If you could do a slow pan of the items left I think it would drive people in.

I wish you would have put this on the sign too that you were closing, instead of waiting to put "Closed for Summer" at the time you were closed.

I was there today, only plants were lots of succulents, and a few geraniums. There are lots of flags, some holiday decorations. A few gardening items and fertilizer Paws N Plants

Were succulents the only plants left?

Are there any landscape timbers left?Trees?

Could you share pictures of what is left for sale ? Thank you!!
